President Langston Urges Participation in Quadrennial Homeland Security Review
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is conducting its second Quadrennial Homeland Security Review (QHSR) and NACo President Linda Langston, supervisor, Linn County, Iowa, urges county officials to participate in DHS’s effort to collaborate with stakeholders, including county governments, to strengthen partnerships, improve security resilience and strengthen our economy. To view President Langston’s letter and to read about the objectives of this QHSR and how to participate, click here.

As part of NACo’s ongoing collaboration with DHS to promote the interests of county governments across the country, DHS is extending a formal invitation for President Langston to serve on the QHSR Executive Committee (EXCOMM). This will ensure that final decisions concerning QHSR findings and conclusions are made with direct input and counsel from county leaders.
