Mar. 4, 2018 , 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Georgetown, Concourse Level

Recognizing that counties need to be prepared for public health needs before, during and after natural disasters strike, this session will focus on strategies for creating a resilient county public health system. County elected officials must work with health and emergency management departments to prepare for and appropriately respond to public health issues.  In this session, county leaders will share how they have responded to past disasters and how they are making changes today to mitigate future impacts.
