The county enterprise employs nearly 3,000 full-time staff. We are currently seeking an experienced manager to serve as the top assistant to the Chief County Assessment Officer. The Chief County Assessment Office oversees the work of 18 elected township assessors as well as handling all property valuation complaints as the staff for the county Board of Review. There are over 250,000 real estate parcels in Lake County.
Presently, the county utilizes Manatrons ProVal as its valuation tool and the tax administration tool is Ascend by ASIX. Qualifications: Requires at least a Bachelors degree supplemented by college course work in real estate and property appraisal.
