NACo Internet University sets new group prices

NACo Internet University (NIU) has lowered prices for large group orders of its electronic libraries. Counties, departments or groups can now save money on this Web-based learning system. While orders of 1–99 accesses to each library remain at $195 per person, per library, per year, prices for 100–499 accesses drop to $100 each; 500–749 dip to $90 each; 750–999 slide to $85 each; and 1,000 accesses at a time can be bought for $80 each.

The vast number of electronic courses (600+) in the Information Technology Library and the 700 electronic courses in the Professional Skill Development Library do not diminish with lower prices. In fact, each month, course listings are updated on the NIU system to ensure that NIU learners are kept abreast of technology changes or course revisions.

To sign up your county’s employees for NIU, go to www.nacoiu.org and click the red buttons at the top of the site. Use the NIU Order Form on the red “Buy Libraries” button to indicate your purchase, using a purchase order, check or credit card. Then, collect the electronic data required for each member of your group. E-mail it using the NIU User Group Form.
