Like counties across the nation, Arlington County, Va. — home of the Pentagon — held a day’s worth of events commemorating the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. As seen here, the county began by unfurling its official 30 ft. x 60 ft. flag in Gateway Park at the foot of the Key Bridge at 9:37 a.m., the exact moment when the Pentagon was attacked.
