ASSISTANT CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER — MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. Salary to $111,874 (DOQ&E).
A member of the Senior Management Team, this position serves as one of five senior expert advisors to the County Executive (CE) and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST (MA III) — FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA.
Department of Public Works and Environmental Services Office of Building Code Services. Under the supervision of the Director, Office of Building Code Services, oversees the performance of the Fairfax County permitting processes, coordinates the development of countywide strategies to ensure continuing improvement of land development regulatory review services; evaluates the existing services provided by county and state agencies and their integration within a land development review and permit issuance. Proposes and oversees the implementation of programmatic and technological changes and monitors their effectiveness. Coordinates and monitors the administration of existing Building Code enforcement programs among county agencies. Creates and provides staff support to an external Customer Steering Committee advising Office of Building Code Services (OBCS), Office of Site Development Services (OSDS), and other county agencies on customer service issues. Following the development of the county e-permitting system leads its implementation in OBCS and serves as liaison with OSDS, Department of Information Technology, and other agencies participating in this effort.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in quantitative analysis, plus four years of progressively responsible professional experience in management analysis, including quantitative analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The most successful candidates for this position will have: Worked in a supervisory or management capacity or a professional level administrative position associated with the construction industry. Three years of experience in conducting business process analysis.
A minimum of nine hours of college level course work in statistics. A minimum of six hours of college level course work in quantitative analysis.
