ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY — GLOUCESTER COUNTY, VA.
Starting salary: $47,029 (salary range $47,029–$70,544), plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Full-time position with the County of Gloucester beginning July 1, 2001. Position primarily performs professional work for the Department of Social Services, and advises various County boards, agencies and offices on legal matters and represents the County in court when necessary, or as assigned by County Attorney. COUNTY ENGINEER/PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR — BENTON COUNTY, MINN. Salary range: $56,555–$73,528 annually with excellent benefit package. COUNTY MANAGER — STANLY COUNTY, N.C.
Salary negotiable; commensurate with experience and/or education. County of approximately 56,000 located east of Charlotte, with budget of approximately $41 million and 500 full-and part-time employees. Manager serves as county’s chief administrator and is directly responsible to a five-member Board of Commissioners elected to four-year staggered terms. Supervises all county personnel matters; attends all board meetings; executes orders, ordinances, resolutions and policies adopted by the board; prepares and submits annual budget; performs any duties required or authorized by the board. Sonoma County Human Services Department (Santa Rosa, CA) has a full time opening on its Executive Team for a Division Director of Administration. Reporting to the Human Services Director, the incumbent will have a broad range of responsibilities that are department-wide in scope and include the planning, organizing and coordination of all aspects of the Division.
