NACo meets new Cabinet members

In an effort to establish a strong working relationship with the new Bush Administration, NACo President Jane Hague and NACo President-elect Javier Gonzales have begun a series of meetings with Bush Cabinet secretaries and the White House.

During a day-long blitz, Feb. 14, Hague and Gonzales met with Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Mel Martinez, Transportation Secretary Norm Mineta, Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Josh Bolten.
