Education: B.A., International Relations; M.B.A. Finance, both at UCLA The hardest thing Ive ever done: Face my father after I told him from a mountain top in Turkey that I cancelled my assignment to Frankfurt, Germany in order to volunteer in Vietnam. Three people (living or dead) Id invite to dinner: An orphan from Afghanistan, Israel and the World Trade tower. A dream I have is to: Spoil some grandkids. Youd be surprised to learn that I: Discovered, after being William Joseph for 23 years, that my birth certificate said I was Billie. The most adventurous thing Ive ever done is: Be the first in my fathers and mothers family to go to college and graduate, with a single scholarship of $100. My favorite sport is: People watching, anywhere. Im most proud of: My kids, Monica and Clinton (no Bill Clinton jokes, please). Every morning I read: The Bakersfield Californian at home and the Los Angeles Times at work. My favorite meal is: Ethnic cooking, anywhere. My pet peeve is: People who dont know who they are and dont care. My motto is: Just do it. The last book I read was: The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield. My favorite movie is: The Third Man (Vienna, the music, b/w film and a really different culture.) My favorite music is: Blues, Cajun and classic jazz. My favorite president is: Richard Nixon for being predictable. |
