CONFERENCES
- n The National Business Incubations Association (NBIA) will hold its 11th Annual Fall Training Institute in Denver, Colo. Nov. 1012. The institute will include sessions on creating and leading effective support programs for start-up and fledging firms The three-day event will feature six workshops led by a faculty of industry experts. The sessions are designed to help existing incubation personnel learn to better manage their programs and to assist incubator developers in establishing successful programs.

- The National Civic League (NCL) will hold its 107th Annual National Conference on Governance entitled, Digital Democracy: Civic Engagement in the 21st Century. The conference will convene innovators from around the country to discuss the changes in E-government, politics and community building and assess the implications for our collective future while highlighting models. - The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) will hold its 13th Annual Symposium entitled Science & Stewardship: Creating Greener Communities Nov.1213 at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel. Panelists will discuss best practices and latest techniques in using technology to protect and remediate land, working with conservation partners, understanding the relationships between species and their environment to beginning a habitat program.
