NACo members have two opportunities to submit policy proposals for consideration by NACo steering committees at the Legislative Conference. 1. Policy resolutions submitted to NACo by Feb. 2 are placed on the appropriate steering committees’ agendas. 2. NACo members may also submit proposals to steering committees for their consideration after the Feb. 2 deadline. To be placed on the agenda after deadline requires approval from three-quarters of the steering committee members.
