Come to the Conference-wide
Event at Laclede’s Landing
Regional music, cuisine and children’s activities on tap

Laclede’s Landing, a riverfront entertainment district named for the founder of St. Louis, is the site of this year’s Conference-wide Event, titled Rollin’ on the River: The Street Party.

Regional food, drink, local blues bands and entertainers will be featured at the party, which takes place Sunday, July 18 from 6–9 p.m. Area restaurants will be open throughout the evening and buses will continue to shuttle party-goers to hotels until 11 p.m.

The party menu will include Missouri barbecued pig and pastas from St. Louis’ Italian neighborhood, The Hill. Walk-around county fair desserts – cheesecake and brownies on a stick – as well as cappuccino and espresso, will also be served.

The nine-block area of century-old brick and cast iron façade buildings, designated as a national landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is just north of the Gateway Arch. The streets are made of cobblestone, so wear comfortable shoes.

Bring your kids. For the young-at-heart, there will be a magician, a balloon sculptor and face painting.

The President Casino on The Admiral riverboat is adjacent to the area.
