New NACo exhibit booth to debut
at 1999 Annual Conference

After many months of coordination and planning, a new NACo exhibit booth will debut at the Annual Conference. The idea came about as a joint effort between NACo’s Financial Services Center (FSC) and the NACo membership staff to better represent how "Counties Save with NACo."

The backdrop of the new booth is a pictorial that includes different scenes from America’s counties, the U.S. Capitol dome and a globe with the map of North America on it. The booth will fill a 10’ x 20’ foot space and a can be reduced for a smaller 10’ x 10’ space.

The features of the booth include a brochure tower, a podium, a meeting counter and a monitor square to view videos or computer presentations.

The booth will be used primarily at state association meetings. In the past, membership staff would have a booth at state meetings and the FSC or its partners and vendors would have their own booths. This brings everyone together at one booth to present all the benefits that NACo provides. Some of the partners and vendors may still maintain their own booths at meetings, but their connection to NACo will be clear.

The new NACo exhibit booth was jointly funded by NACo and the Financial Services Center partners and vendors, which include Nationwide Retirement Solutions (formerly PEBSCO), Evare, The Insurance Center, Office Depot, KI, Wareforce, Tangent Computers, En Pointe Technologies and Graybar.

At the Annual Conference, the exhibit will be in the second floor atrium of the America’s Center next to registration. Come see this exciting new booth and pick up some free goodies while you are there.
