Years in public office: 20 years as Taney County, Mo. clerk.

Education: : I attend University of Missouri in business administration.

The hardest thing I've ever done: Bury a son.

Three people (living or dead) I'd invite to dinner: Jesus, Will Rogers and Mark Twain.

A dream I have is to: : Build a national company which will provide local government solutions.

You'd be surprised to learn that I: Am currently developing a company called Local Government Solutions.

The most adventurous thing I've ever done is: Sit next to Carl Hansen at a NACo budget meeting.

My favorite sport is: : Football.

I'm most proud of: My family.

Every morning I read: The Bible.

My favorite meal is: Black Bass and cornbread and butter.

My pet peeve is: Individuals talking when others have the floor.

My motto is: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The last book I read was: When God Whispers Your Name by Max Lucado.

My favorite movie is: I love movies, but I don’t have a favorite.

My favorite music is: Classic rock.

My favorite president is: Ronald Reagan and Harry Truman.
