Attendees of the National Housing Conference's (NHC) annual policy convention, "The Future of Housing and Communities," will hear the latest public and private sector initiatives to increase home ownership, pending legislation on relevant tax issues, and timing predictions for the passage of housing legislation and funding levels for critical programs. "Voices of Strength: An Inside Look at Children's Mental Health" is a 20-minute video highlighting the stories of young people and their families who have struggled with serious emotional disturbances. The video, produced by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, intends to prove that with the help of community resources, families who are dealing with mental health issues can have healthy futures.
