
President Bill Clinton will address delegates to NACos 1996 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. tomorrow, March 5. More than 2,000 delegates have been meeting at the conference over the weekend, attending workshops and deliberating policy.
They have also heard from top Administration and congressional speakers, including Secretary of Transportation Federico Peña, Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman, EPA Administrator Carol Browner, Senate Republican Conference Chairman Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), House Republican Conference Chairman John Boehner (Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.).
