The Take Pride In America ® Program offers volunteering opportunities in a number of positions across the country, both long- and short-term, to give you a chance to work towards a cleaner, healthier environment. Volunteer.gov offers a slightly wider variety of placements with a range of national agencies. Additionally, Habitat for Humanity is now working on building greener homes for those who need them, and is always looking for volunteers to help with this construction. Work with your local Parks and Recreation Department to start a county-wide health and wellness initiative.
