  • NACo First Vice President Roy Charles Brooks represented NACo at the Council of State Governments’ Justice Board meeting in Cook County, Oct. 5–7
  •  NACo Immediate Past President Sallie Clark spoke at the North Dakota Association of Counties Annual Conference held in in Bismarck, N.D. Oct. 9–11.

  • Emilia Istrate, research director, spoke about county priorities at the annual conference of the National Recreation and Park Association in St. Louis, Mo. Oct. 5–8.
  • Linda Langston, director of strategic relations, represented NACo at the Rural Policy and Research Institute Summit in Iowa City, Iowa Oct. 12–14.
  • Brian Namey, NACo public affairs director, discussed why counties matter at the National Tax Lien Association fall symposium in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 15.
