NACo Officers
  • President Sallie Clark spoke April 25 at the National Association of County Engineers Annual Conference in Pierce County (Tacoma), Wash.

 

NACo Staff

  • Sharon Russell is NACo’s Financial Services Center’s new senior program director.  In this position, she will have oversight of the NACo-US Communities program including marketing, promotions, driving sales, and will serve as the primary liaison.  Before joining NACo, Russell established, owned and managed Scudder Law firm in North Carolina.  Prior to that, she was an executive general counsel with the North Carolina Association of Counties.
  • NACo Executive Director Matt Chase was a featured speaker at the Mid-South Mayors’ Council’s  RegionSmart Conference, April 28, in Shelby County (Memphis), Tenn. The conference was the first of its kind and brought together local elected officials  and business leaders to discuss region-wide problems.
  • Brian Knudsen, research analyst, presented NACo’s County Explorer interactive map at the Professional Development Conference of  the Development District Association of Appalachia in Buncombe County (Asheville), N.C., April 25.
