  • President Bryan Desloge briefed members of the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) on his presidential initiative, civility, and NACo’s 2017 priorities at a general session during MAC’s Legislative Conference in Ingham County, March 27–29. 
  • President Desloge represented NACo at the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma’s Spring Conference, held March 29–30 in Cleveland County.

NACo Staff

  • Arthur Scott, associate legislative director, spoke at the 2017 National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Washington Policy Conference on March 21 discussing the 2016 presidential election and its impact on rural public policy.
