  • From Bloomberg BNA  Daily Tax Report • April 6 A coalition of nonpartisan groups representing state and local governments is asking Congress to preserve a popular income tax deduction, as well as an exemption on interest earned from municipal bonds.

To be eligible to vote at the 2024 Annual Business Meeting, NACo members must register for the Annual Conference, pay 2024 NACo membership dues in full and designate one voting delegate by 5 p.m. EDT July 8.
