NACo-EPA Water Quality Workshop Series As part of the NACo-EPA Total Maximum Daily Loads Partnership, NACo, in cooperation with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) held a workshop on August 13th at MACo's conference in Ocean City. Presenting at this workshop were: Jay Sakai, director of water management administration, Maryland Department of the Environment; Sarah Furtak, environmental protection specialist, EPA Watershed Branch; Mark Yoder, Utilities Division Chief for Allegany County, Md.; Tom Devilbiss, deputy director of planning for Carroll County, Md.; Catherine Shanks, director of Local Government and Community Services Division of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources; and Jennifer Raulin, Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant Program. The session was moderated by Mark Guns, Cecil County commissioner.
