RFP Issued for the National Urban and Community Forestry Challenge Cost-Share Grant Program
The U.S. Forest Service recently issued a Request for Proposals for the National Urban and Community Forestry Challenge Cost-Share Grant Program. There is approximately $900,000 available for projects within four issue areas:
- Energy conservation and urban forests,
- Climate change and urban forests,
- Public health and urban forests, and
- Green infrastructure assessments.
Applicants are encouraged to contact and work with their Forest Service Regional Urban and Community Forestry Program Manager in developing their proposal.
