NACo Officers and the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is a committee of the Board of Directors. The officers of the association are elected officials of active member counties. Each officer is elected at the Annual Conference by those members qualified to vote (Article XI of NACo Bylaws). The executive committee consists of a president, president-elect, first vice-president, second vice-president, and immediate past president.
Role of the Executive Committee
- Exercise all powers of authority as granted by the Board of Directors
- Responsible for the assets and affairs of the association
