Abstract:
The Division of Children's Service undertook initiative designed to measure and improve staff morale. The Division operates early childhood developmental initiatives for the County and morale directly impacts the level and quality of services delivered to families and small children. After the initial measurement of staff morale, a number of interventions were employed in an attempt to improve morale. A second measure of staff morale was employed after the interventions and staff morale was found to have been improved. NB: The tests employed were developed by the Division Chief and should in no way be presumed to be valid or reliable.
