Members of the Rural Action Caucus steering committee recently held a retreat in Gallatin County (Bozeman), Mont. to discuss legislative priorities and chart activities for 2007. Among the topics discussed at the retreat were the upcoming farm bill reauthorization, the methamphetamine epidemic, the impact of the 2006 election on rural America and the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act Reauthorization.
