NACo applauds Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), former chair Fairfax County, Va. Board of Supervisors, who has sponsored the Restore the Partnership Act of 2009, H.R. 3332 — the bill  “to establish the National Commission on Intergovernmental Relations to facilitate the fullest cooperation and coordination between all levels of government.”

We call on all county officials to contact their members of the House of Representatives to encourage them to co-sponsor this important legislation.
