NACo Finance Committee

The NACo Finance Committee works at the direction and request of the NACo Executive Committee. It is designed to help the executive committee provide guidance to the Board of Directors. The committee is made up of 11 members who serve three year staggered terms, plus committee chairs from the Audit Committee, NACTFO, NACA, and NACCA. The President-elect of NACo serves as the chair. New members are appointed each year by the President of NACo. This committee monitors NACo investments and financial performance. It also provides the executive committee with a recommendation regarding the annual NACo budget. In recent years, this committee has developed investment policies and procedures for NACo assets, and developed the association's reserves guideline. Currently this committee is charged with providing the board with recommendations regarding building options for NACo's move in 2007.
