This page features information that will help you provide better housing services in your county. It is supported by The National Affordable Housing Training Institute, a partner with NACo in providing technical assistance to county officials on how to use Federal, State, Local and non-profit resources to bring affordable housing projects into their communities. The focus is on HUD’s Home Investment Partnership Act (HOME program) in combination with other governmental and private sector resources.
To support NACo’s housing efforts, we conduct workshops at national and regional NACo conferences, produce publications and guidebooks and work with State Associations to provide information and technical assistance to local elected and appointed county officials.
Please find below under "Related Files" the most recent information and up-to-date news regarding NACo's Affordable Housing program and the issue in general. Please check back regularly.
