Hon. Xavier Becerra

Secretary Xavier Becerra is the 25th Secretary of the Department of Human Services and the first Latino to hold this office. Prior to this role, he served 12 terms in Congress as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, focusing on strengthening Medicare and lowering the cost of healthcare for seniors and was the Attorney General of the state of California. Secretary Becerra is working with President Biden to ensure every American has access to healthcare and health security.
